We have a nice little food rule in our home.
'If you choose to eat your dinner, then you may have dessert. If you choose not to eat your dinner, then you choose to forego dessert. '
Unfortunately, this little rule caused a few deaths in our home last evening.
Dear Daughter (who is having a difficult time finishing the delightful eggplant dish that her dear mother prepared for the evening meal):
"Mom, what's for dessert?"
"A piece of candy."
Pause...
"Well..., " handing her plate of eggplant back to the cook, "it's not worth the risk of throwing up."

Dear Mother and Dear Father, with looks of disappointment on their faces close the kitchen door between them and child, look at each other and die of laughter shortly thereafter.
Funeral services will be held today.
