In which we learn what a SPARKLER is...

Yep. This is the first time my children have ever seen or handled a sparkler. My fifteen year old was enthralled.

Last week they learned what celery is.

New discoveries just keep happening...

LOL! We have friends who are back here from being missionaries in Africa. Their 13 year old boy said, "Oh you have flies here in America too!" :o)
It is so fun to see them discover things for the first time!
    Thanks so much for sharing.

  3. Did they like celery?

Hope all is well at your house.

My daughter says sparklers are "fireworks you can hold."

    Have a great day,

  6. My children read your post and were amazed that your children had never had celery. My 8yo asked why and I told her that you used to live in turkey. Her 6yo brother immediately replied, "Yeh, and all they have there to eat is TURKEY!" Thanks for the laugh today.

  7. They didn't like the celery! Raora took one bite and said, "How do people eat this stuff? It is not fit for human consumption!"
