Happiness cannot be found; it can only be created.
The less you have, the happier you are.
It’s not the amount of books you read that is important; it is the quality of books.
To love is to forgive, over and over again, for the same offense.
The road less traveled doesn’t have a lot of people on it.
Fairytales really are true.

It is so true to but the one that stuck out at me was the road less traveled. There is a small group of HS's here in the Kootnays and all spread out. In that group very few are Christians.
Thank-you for your help with how to put a picture on my web page, it worked. :)I am readig threw some of your earlier posts how can I comment on them so you would know?

Canada girl, do some of the earlier posts not allow comments? If they don't, let me know which ones and I will change the settings. I thought I they all allowed comments. If they do, even if they are old posts, I will get an email notifying me that you commented. Now, I will hop over to your weblog and check out your pics!
Thanks for visiting, Sandi!

As I told my Dad once. "I stopped believing in happily ever after when I got married." That sounds so cynical but it would have saved me a lot of heartache had I realized that earlier.

Oh, but it is true! I understand why you feel the way you do, right now. Most of us will go through this time of disbelieving fairytales as we experience the real pain of life. But fairytales are more real than we ever imagined them to be. I promise you, one day you will believe in them again! You just wait and see...

May 12, 2006 - the others leading up to fairytales

I was sitting here thinking how I felt about fairytales coming true. Reflecting on my life and I have had my dreams among the thorns. I believe to a point the other points lead up to the fairytale coming true in my life.

...and don't forget that we are all part of one great fairytale. We already know the ending--that we get the to marry the Prince and live happily ever after. All fairytales have dark and hopeless moments... but good always triumphs over evil, even if small battles are lost.

May 20, 2006 - More on fairy tales

As my husband says, "in most fairy tales there is a lot of heartache before the 'happily ever after'". I too like the one about the road less traveled. Like I said before, I love your blog!
