Your site has been a tremendous blessing to our family and has indeed inspired life-giving education here. Your wisdom will be sorely missed, but I wish you all the best on your new endeavors.
I am so thankful that I found your blog way back in 2006 or 2007 when we first started homeschooling. I had read a few books about Charlotte Mason and your blog made it real and daily-doable. :) Thank you, thank you!!!
Lindafay Thank you SO MUCH for sharing over the years, you have been a huge source of inspiration and confidence building, God Bless you!!! (PS Do pray you are keeping the site up? Love to go be able to go back and read oldies and goodies)
Lindafay, Thank you so much for all you've done. My heart is sad. It seems all my favorite blogs shut down. You've been a wealth of wisdom and help through the last four or five years. I also hope that you can leave the blog/forum/charlottemasonhelp archives up. I've copied a lot, but I can't do it all. You've blessed many, many people. God's best to you and your family. Judi
I've never commented here before, but yours is one of my absolute favorite blogs. I understand saying goodbye, but I am very sad to hear it. Thank you so much for all of your words of wisdom. They have made a huge difference in how I homeschool! I hope you will leave this site up. I refer to it often.
I check in often for inspiration and guidance. I so enjoy the information you've shared. I hope so much that we'll all still have access to this blog even if you don't post new information. Thank you for your generosity.
My children have just reached preschool age, and I fortunately stumbled over your blog. I found myself being captivated by your entries. Finally, I thought, have I found someone with the same educational philosophy and goals. I had people laughing at me, when I expressed my desire to raise our children with the wisdom of the ages, poetry, art...but your blog gave me encouragement. Now, I know it can be done.
I have to admit, I am so terribly sad! Do you really have to go?!! You have been a tremendous inspiration! Thank you so much for so generously sharing all you have learned - I truly hope your site remains up, there is so much more I want to pick through and glean from. May our Lord bless you abundantly as you reap the bounty you have sowed in your precious children! Blessings to you from across the world and please, if you are ever anywhere in India, please, please do let me know. There are many who would love to hear and learn from your wisdom and experience!!
Thank you for sharing so much with so many of us. I am sure this won't be the last time we "hear" from you. I know God will use you to help others in other ways. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions and for sharing your wisdom. I hope someday to meet you in person for tea. :-)
You blessed me in unspeakable ways. My four ( so far) will forever be impacted by your practical application of CM lofty ideas! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart
Thank you, Friends, for taking the time to say goodbye. I appreciate your kindness so very much!
Blog archives will remain up. Charlotte Mason Help site will remain up. Our HUFI curriculum Forum is closed, but files and archives will remain available there as well.
This blog, your willingness and time to put it together, and your gently inspired council has literally blessed my home and family from the ground up. Thank you SO much for leaving this blog in place for me to continue to glean from God's grace- through you. I appreciate it.
It feels a bit like a death in the family. I know life will go on. But it won't be the same. You will be missed. And my heart is so thankful for the privilege of having known you here and on your other sites. I was always so amazed by all you accomplished, and always this hope in my heart that it wouldn't come to an end. At least not for a long time. God has used you in amazing ways, and I'm so thankful you've been a willing vessel. There will surely be rewards for you in heaven to throw back at His feet. Thank you so much, Lindafay. Warmly right back to you, Judi
Thanks to your detailed observations, I have had some of my niggling concerns answered. You have left behind a very useful compendium of information. At this time of year, there are mothers and fathers pulling their children out of school and wondering, "NOW what do I do?" Having some practical guidelines is a blessing. All contributions from experienced parent educators are welcome, and I love your very calm way of explaining things.
Lindafay, did you remove the books and schedules for years 7 and 8? Thank you so much for the inspiration. I was hoping to use years 7 and 8 for upcoming years...
I would buy your book also. Higher Up and Further in has been the most helpful blog to me in my 15 years of homeschooling. It has helped form the atmosphere of our home into what it is now. Thank You
Won't you consider writing for us again? My favorite home school blog of all time plus the most helpful. You have so much wisdom to share....share it.....pretty please...said with my best puppy dog eyes.
If you wrote a book - I would definitely buy it as well! Miss your blog but I understand that you have to do what works best for you and your family. Thank you Linda!
Thank you for sharing so much, Lindafay. Blessings on your journey.
