This is a wee bit late but so funny:
When my 5yr old dear son finished wrapping the Christmas presents that he carefully selected for each family member a few weeks ago, he danced around the room and happily announced to his daddy,
"Mom's heart is going to be flooded!
StrongJoy and Raora will be whining with joy!
and
Pippi will be spitting on the bed!"
He...he...
Lindafay, that is precious! Does Pippi often spit on the bed? What a joyful house you must have! :-)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, you have done well in training them that it is more blessed to give than to receive...a most valuable lesson in life!
Very sweet! I'm sure your heart was flooded :)
ReplyDeleteHope all is going well.
Stacy
Oh, that's hilarious, and so cute!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Oh my. I was just telling Raora today about my youngest brother... he must have been about five too, when we were watching Ben-Hur. "But shouldn't it be Ben-Him?"
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the "mom's heart is going to be flooded!" What wonderful language for a 5 year old! So descriptive. :-)
ReplyDeleteGood for you to write these cute sayings down!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know that I made the 3D snowflakes you linked to ... so fun! My kids are too young to make these on their own, but I think I'll let them work on another one with me tomorrow and see if they can manage that.
How precious!
ReplyDeleteThe joy of a little boy!
